Workers' Compensation: $70,000 Additional Compensation For Back, Shoulder, and Wrist Injuries
Ann sustained injuries to her back, shoulder, and wrist while working as a truck driver in Concord, North Carolina. Prior to retaining our firm, she accepted some compensation from the insurance company, which limited our options and ability to obtain further compensation for Ann. However, I agreed to take Ann's case and develop a legal strategy to improve her position.
First, we fought to ensure Ann got the additional medical care required to address her injuries. We next implemented our strategy to increase the compensation owed by the Defendants for the accidents. Once we properly addressed the various procedural issues presented by Ann's case, I was able to negotiate a proper settlement for our client. We ultimately obtained an additional $70,000 of compensation for Ann. This case was very rewarding. When Ann initially presented to our office, her case was simply a procedural mess. The Defendants had her "over a barrel". We were able to gain control of Ann's case, and achieve a very solid result.
